This is how it works
I am walking the forest
the ground is covered with
pieces of quartz rock
very white on an otherwise dark forest floor
the tall scar in the tree bark
is deep and black inside
and for no particular reason
asks to be filled
with white quartz rocks
I answer the request
and another forest work is made
