be sure to find some examples of stone works in Japan-- a culture that really reveres stone and nature and the human connection.
ReplyDeleteThe art of dry stone walling is incredible. And these pictures are a beautiful example of this art. There are many dry stone fences around the volcanic areas surrounding Ballarat that are our local examples of dry stone work. Perfect grided lines stamped upon the landscape to show boundary and keep livestock from roaming.
